Monluc Armagnac Vintage 1978

  • Ageing 1978 vintage, harvest year
  • Terroir Ténarèze

A bottle from 1978 naturally finds its place as a gift: a birth, wedding or birthday celebrated in 1978, or a nod to a generation. This vintage is the eau-de-vie of a single harvest, that of 1978, and the appellation only allows it from ten years of age. It joins the collection that Château de Monluc, in Saint-Puy, in the Gers, keeps from 1963 to 2016. An Armagnac-Ténarèze of 70 cl at 43% vol., it can be carefully kept or opened at the table of the person you wish to honor.

In Gascony, the vines yielded a vintage of fine concentration and great maturity. Aged for nearly half a century, these eaux-de-vie offer a deep profile of roasted prunes and dark chocolate.
