Sempé Armagnac Vintage 1978

A 1978 harvest takes its place in the great collection of Sempé vintages, which the house in Aignan, in the Gers, has been enriching since 1934. For each vintage, the cellar masters select casks to recreate, in the glass, the founder's triptych: perfume, roundness, length. It is a fine idea for those born in 1978, for celebrating a wedding anniversary of a marriage held that year, or for completing a cellar of vintages. This 70 cl Bas-Armagnac, at 40% vol., is presented in a Milady bottle and delivered in a gift box, ready to be given.

The year 1978

Vintage grand

1978 was marked by the election of John Paul II, the first non-Italian pope in more than four centuries, in a year also defined by the FIFA World Cup in Argentina. In Gascony, the vines yielded a vintage of fine concentration and great maturity. Aged for nearly half a century, these eaux-de-vie offer a deep profile of roasted prunes and dark chocolate.
