clés des ducs Armagnac 1989

  • Ageing Vintage 1989
  • Cask Gascon black oak, measured toast

This Armagnac Millésime 1989 from Clés des Ducs is a lovely gift idea for a birth, a wedding or a birthday from that very year. It comes from Panjas, in the Gers, where the house has been distilling since 1774, continuously, at low temperature, in a copper Armagnac still. The eaux-de-vie then age in Gascon black oak casks, with a measured toast. Bottled at 40°, it is presented in an Exception 70 cl bottle with a cardboard gift box, ready to give and to open on the day of the celebration.

In Gascony, the vines yielded a vintage of fine freshness. Aged for nearly four decades in Gascon oak casks, these eaux-de-vie retain a lovely vitality, with notes of candied fruit, vanilla and gentle spice.
