MILLET ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1990
- Ageing Vintage 1990, single-harvest eau-de-vie, aged in oak casks at the estate
- Cask French oak casks, aged in the cellars of Château de Millet until bottling
- Grape varieties Baco and Ugni Blanc, Bas-Armagnac grape varieties grown on the estate's sandy soils at Eauze
In 1990, Floc de Gascogne was granted its appellation d'origine, a landmark recognition for Francis Dèche, one of the pioneers of this product. On the Armagnac side, the 1990 harvest yielded an eau-de-vie with an elegant nose of fresh fruit, plum and fig. The palate opens with great balance, the tannins are fine and well integrated, and the finish is complex and fresh. It aged undisturbed in cask at Eauze until bottled with a dated label. For those born in 1990, a 70 cl bottle at 42% vol., presented in a wooden gift box.
