DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1993 MAGNUM 150 CL
- Ageing eau-de-vie from the 1993 harvest, bottled after several decades of ageing in the cellars
- Cask aged in Gascon oak casks at the Armagnac Delord cellars in Lannepax
The 1993 vintage from Armagnac Delord is a single-harvest eau-de-vie, distilled and then slowly aged in Gascon oak casks in the family cellars at Lannepax, in the Gers. On the nose, it reveals aromas of smoke and tobacco, with vanilla notes and a refined oakiness. The palate is lightly astringent, with that characteristic contraction and dryness on the tongue and cheeks imparted by the wood tannins. Bottled at 40% vol., this vintage Armagnac is presented here in a magnum of 150 cl, equally suited to leisurely tasting or as an exceptional gift.
Serve with best enjoyed as a digestif, neat in a tulip glass, or paired with a cigar, dark chocolate or a dried-fruit dessert
