BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1993
- Cask oak from the Limousin forest
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir tawny sands
- Distillation Armagnac-type continuous still
Matured at Château de Bordeneuve, near Eauze, the 1993 harvest comes from tawny sands, from Ugni Blanc or Baco. It was distilled in an Armagnac-type continuous still, then aged in Limousin oak casks. Thirty-three years have passed since the harvest. It is an interesting age for anyone discovering vintages: the eau-de-vie has presence, without the austerity of some very old years. For a loved one's 33rd birthday, it is a date that speaks for itself. 70 cl Cognac-style bottle.
