CASTARÈDE ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1997
- Ageing 23 years in cask, bottled in 2020
- Cask oak
Castarède aged the 1997 harvest for twenty-three years in oak casks, then bottled it in 2020; the date appears on the back label. A relatively young vintage, well suited to a first discovery of single-harvest Armagnac. The eau-de-vie is unblended and bottled at 40% vol. Castarède, founded in 1832, presents it in a 70 cl bottle with gift box, for anyone born in 1997, or to keep a bottle from the year of a special encounter.
