MILLET ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1999
- Ageing Vintage 1999, single-harvest eau-de-vie, aged in oak casks at the estate
- Cask French oak casks, aged in the cellars of Château de Millet until bottling
- Grape varieties Baco and Ugni Blanc, the Bas-Armagnac grape varieties grown on the estate's golden sands at Eauze
On 11 August 1999, a total solar eclipse passed over northern France. The Dèche family's harvest followed shortly after, on the golden sands of Eauze. The Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes were vinified and distilled on the estate; the eau-de-vie then rested in cask, never blended with another year, until the date shown on the label. A fitting gift for anyone born or married in 1999: a 70 cl bottle sealed in wax, bottled at 42% vol., presented in a wooden gift box.
