BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1934
- Cask oak from the Limousin forest
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir tawny sands
- Distillation continuous Armagnac-type still
Harvested in 1934, the year the first Journal de Mickey appeared, this eau-de-vie was made from Ugni Blanc or Baco grapes grown on tawny sands. Distilled in a continuous Armagnac-type still, it aged for decades in Limousin oak casks before joining the reserves of the Château de Bordeneuve. Baron de Sigognac keeps each of its vintages separate there, and bottles only to order. In 2026, ninety-two years have passed since the harvest. It is presented in a 70 cl Cognac-style bottle, with the bottling date on the back, and delivered in a wooden box.
