It spent 86 years in oak casks before being bottled in 2020, and is bottled at 40% vol. Best enjoyed as a digestif, to celebrate a birth, a wedding or a 1934 anniversary. Presented in a gift box.

1934 was a year of contrasts, marked in cinema by Jean Vigo's L'Atalante, a masterpiece of French poetic realism, and on the pitch by the Italian World Cup. In Gascony, the vines of that year yielded a harvest that has since become rare, aged for over nine decades in oak casks and now approaching its centenary.
Founded in 1832, Castarède is one of the oldest Armagnac négociant houses, and remains entirely independent and family-owned.
