clés des ducs Armagnac 1960
- Ageing 1960 vintage, distilled at Panjas, unblended
The 1960 harvest was distilled at Panjas, in the Gers, where the story of Clés des Ducs began in 1774. The eau-de-vie was kept apart, never joining any blend. In 2026, sixty-six years separate it from the harvest. A small point of reference for those who appreciate dates: 1960 was also the year of the nouveau franc, which entered French wallets on 1 January. The cellar master selects only the casks that yield a long, smooth eau-de-vie with a measured oak presence. It is presented in the 70 cl Exception bottle, at 40% vol., in its cardboard gift box: a fitting way to celebrate the 66th birthday of someone born that year.
