1968 began in February with the Winter Olympics in Grenoble. In the autumn, the Gascon harvest went to the distillery at Panjas, and this eau-de-vie embarked on a long stay in oak casks, never blended with any other year. Fifty-eight years on, it retains the character that Clés des Ducs has always sought: length, richness, smoothness, and a wood influence that stays gently in the background. Presented in the house style for its vintages, it comes in a 70 cl Exception bottle at 40% vol., housed in a cardboard gift box. A fine gift for a 58th birthday, or simply a reason to raise a glass to 1968.
