1968 first evokes the spring of May. In Gascony, autumn brought the harvest for this eau-de-vie, made from Ugni Blanc or Baco grown on the tawny sands of Bas-Armagnac, distilled in a continuous Armagnac-type still, then aged in Limousin oak casks and kept at Château de Bordeneuve. Baron de Sigognac ages each vintage there separately, without blending. In 2026, fifty-eight years separate the harvest from the tasting. The house style, round and fruity, takes on notes of roasted dried fruit with the years. Cognac-type 70 cl bottle, filled to order with the date on the back, delivered in a wooden box.
