Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1979
- Ageing Vintage 1979, a single harvest
To celebrate its 180th anniversary, Dartigalongue created the Louis-Philippe blend from five vintages, and the 1979 harvest is among them. Tasted on its own, it reveals a nose of incense and date, underlined by a hint of smoke. The house describes it as a distinguished vintage, remarkable for its length on the palate, which finishes on the rancio. This is a contemplative eau-de-vie, best served in a tulip glass and allowed to breathe for a few minutes. Presented in a gift box, it makes a meaningful companion for a birth, a wedding anniversary or any celebration from the year 1979.
