LAUBADE ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1988
- Cask Gascon pedunculate oak, 420-litre casks
- Grape varieties Baco, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard
Drawn entirely from the 1988 harvest, this vintage was aged in the cellars of Château de Laubade, in Gascon pedunculate oak casks crafted on the estate. It was then bottled at the domaine, in Sorbets, at the heart of Bas-Armagnac. This 1988 Armagnac reveals aromas of roasted almonds and fresh bread. Refined, velvety and well-balanced, with notes of vanilla on the palate and a pleasantly integrated oakiness.
