BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1999
- Cask oak from the Limousin forest
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir tawny sands
- Distillation Armagnac-style continuous still
1999 is the last harvest before the year 2000, a year that finds its place in a gift for a birth, a wedding or a 27th birthday. This Armagnac is made from Ugni Blanc or Baco, distilled in an Armagnac-style continuous still, then aged in oak casks from the Limousin forest. It comes from the tawny sands of Castelnau d'Auzan, in Bas-Armagnac. The Baron de Sigognac, so the legend goes, relied only on his palate to know the age of his eaux-de-vie. The 70 cl bottle is presented with its Baron de Sigognac wooden box.
