1967 was a year of global tension, marked by the Vietnam War and China's Cultural Revolution, while in France a generation was quietly laying the groundwork for the May 68 uprising. The Gascon harvest of that year yielded eaux-de-vie that, after nearly six decades of ageing in oak casks, display a silky character, balanced between candied prunes and gentle vanilla sweetness.
