BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1924
- Cask Limousin oak
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir Tawny sands soil
- Distillation Armagnac-type continuous still
A century before the 2024 Games, Paris was already hosting the Olympic Games, in the summer of 1924. The Gascon harvest of that year, gathered from tawny sands (Ugni Blanc or Baco), gave this eau-de-vie, distilled in an Armagnac-type continuous still and aged in a Limousin oak cask. It joins the Baron de Sigognac collection after more than a hundred years of patience. At Château de Bordeneuve, near Eauze, these old vintages rest in the paradis, the cellar for the most precious eaux-de-vie. One hundred and two years separate this harvest from 2026. 70 cl Cognac-style bottle, filled only when you order it.
