clés des ducs Armagnac 1962
- Ageing Vintage 1962, distilled at Panjas, unblended
This eau-de-vie comes from the 1962 harvest, distilled at Panjas and then kept separately, cask by cask. Sixty-four years have passed since the harvest: the age of a generation born when the ocean liner France set sail on her maiden voyage, in February 1962. At Clés des Ducs, a house now part of the Armanoir group, one vintage is never blended with another; the cellar master seeks above all length and smoothness, with a deliberately light contribution from the wood. Bottled at 40% vol., the 70 cl Exception bottle comes in its cardboard gift box, ready to give.
