Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1962
- Ageing Vintage 1962, a single harvest
In the Dartigalongue vintage collection, the list opens with this 1962 harvest. On the nose, the house notes toasted oak, vanilla and leather; the palate, well-built, speaks of old oak casks and stewed plum, before a fairly long finish on dried fruits. In Nogaro, it is customary for an eau-de-vie that has spent forty to fifty years in cask to be transferred to a bonbonne, where it evolves very little further: it is this long passage of time that shapes the profile. Presented in a gift box, this 1962 vintage lends itself to a birth, a wedding anniversary or any celebration from that year.
