1974 is a key date for Baron de Sigognac: it is the year the Guasch family took over Château de Bordeneuve, near Eauze. This vintage therefore marks the beginning of a family story that has lasted fifty-two years. Made from Ugni Blanc or Baco grown on tawny sands, distilled in an Armagnac-style continuous still, it has aged in Limousin oak casks. For a couple married in 1974 or for a 52nd anniversary, this is a bottle that carries real meaning. It is presented in 70 cl and is bottled only to order; the bottling date is printed on the back. Delivered in a wooden box.
