CASTARÈDE ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1979
- Ageing 41 years in cask, bottled in 2020
- Cask Oak
The floral attack is what Castarède notices first in its 1979, followed by flavours of peach and prune; the house tasting note appears below. Harvested forty-seven years ago, the eau-de-vie spent forty-one years in oak casks before being bottled in 2020. It comes from a single year, unblended, and is bottled at 40% vol. Castarède, a family house founded in 1832, ages its armagnacs first in new casks, then in older ones. 70 cl bottle, presented in a gift box.
