- Terroir tawny sands
- Distillation continuous Armagnac-type still
The 2000 vintage evokes the turn of the new millennium, and a generation born that year that now celebrates its twenty-sixth birthday. This Baron de Sigognac is made from Ugni Blanc or Baco, distilled in a continuous Armagnac-type still, then aged in Limousin oak casks. It comes from a terroir of tawny sands and is produced by the Bordeneuve house at Castelnau d'Auzan. Exotic fruits and vanilla sit alongside light oak, for a well-balanced tasting. Offered in 70 cl with its Baron de Sigognac wooden case, the bottle suits a birthday, a wedding or a gift that marks a date.
