clés des ducs Armagnac 2002
- Ageing Vintage 2002, distilled at Panjas, unblended
On 1 January 2002, the euro reached French pockets. That autumn, the Gascon harvest went to the still at Panjas, yielding this eau-de-vie, which Clés des Ducs ages alone in oak casks. Twenty-four years on, it holds true to the house style: length, roundness, and wood that stays discreetly in the background. A vintage of this age is best enjoyed after a celebratory meal, in a tulip glass. Bouteille Exception, 70 cl, 40% vol., presented in a cardboard gift box.
