DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 2003
- Ageing Eau-de-vie from the single 2003 harvest, aged in oak casks
- Cask Oak casks, in the house cellars at Lannepax (Gers)
The summer of 2003 is remembered for its extreme heatwave. The Gascon harvest of that year was distilled at Lannepax by the house of Delord, then aged in oak casks, unblended. Twenty-three years on, this Bas-Armagnac, still young for a vintage, lends itself equally well to leisurely tasting or as a digestif: the house recommends its armagnacs alongside a cigar, a chocolate dessert or an arabica coffee. It is presented in a basquaise bottle of 70 cl, at 40% vol., in a wooden gift box.
Serve with Neat, or with a cigar, a chocolate dessert or an arabica coffee, as the house recommends
