DAMBLAT ARMAGNAC 36 YEARS AGE
- Ageing 36 years of age
- Cask Aged in black oak casks, following distillation in an Armagnac pot still on the estate
This bottle bears the mark of thirty-six years spent in black oak casks, in the quiet cellars of the Damblat and Havion families, distillers at Château d'Ayguetinte since 1859. The eau-de-vie is made from grapes vinified and distilled on the estate, in an Armagnac pot still, exclusively from the terroirs of Bas-Armagnac and Ténarèze. A long-aged Armagnac at 40%, it bears witness to a family tradition that has remained faithful to the classic methods of Gascony. A rare expression, crafted for special occasions and for enthusiasts who appreciate unhurried tasting, best savoured slowly, after dinner or by the fire.
