JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1975

  • Ageing Vintage: single-harvest eau-de-vie from 1975, unblended
  • Cask Large-grain oak, medium toast
  • Distillation Continuous

This 1975 is offered by Jean Cavé at 45% vol., as part of its cask-strength range. Distilled in a continuous still, it was aged in a large-grain oak cask, then presented in an Olympe decanter with a wooden arch gift box. The house continues to work with the guidance of Henri Cavé, fourth-generation custodian, who keeps the memory of these vintages alive. A fine choice for a 1975 birth year, a 1975 wedding anniversary, or a dinner you wish to end with a characterful eau-de-vie.

Aged for over half a century in Gascon oak casks, these eaux-de-vie now display a beautifully mature profile, with notes of candied fruit and gentle spice.
