LAUBADE ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1983
- Cask Gascony pedunculate oak, 420-litre casks
This 1983 harvest was vinified without sulphur and then distilled immediately after fermentation, as is Laubade's method to preserve all the fruit of the wine. It then aged for many years in Gascony oak, at the pace of aerations and rackings decided by the cellar master. The house describes it as refined and elegant, with gentle spices, vanilla and a hint of gingerbread on the palate. A vintage to set aside for the festive season, or to give as a gift to someone born in 1983. 70 cl bottle, 40% vol.
