CHARLES DE GRANVILLE CALVADOS 30 YEARS

  • Cask oak

A minimum of thirty years in cask for each eau-de-vie in the blend: that is the guarantee behind the age statement on this Calvados, the flagship of the Charles de Granville blended range. With such extended ageing, the apple character becomes roasted and caramelised, while the wood contributes notes of spice and toasting, as described in the house tasting notes below. A perfect bottle to open for a pearl wedding anniversary, a thirtieth birthday, or a celebratory meal ending with an apple dessert. Serve neat, without ice, in a tulip glass. 70 cl bottle.
