JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1902
- Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1902 harvest alone, unblended
- Cask Oak casks, the house's cellars in Lannepax (Gers)
The house describes its vintages as a reflection of a given year: its singularity, its climatic conditions, the harvest from which it was born. This one takes us back to the autumn of 1902, when Jean Cavé had been distilling in his village for less than twenty years. Since then, four generations have watched over the house's eaux-de-vie, and Henri Cavé, a representative of the fourth, still advises the team. No blending here: a single year, just as it matured. Best kept for a quiet evening, a collector's cellar, or an anniversary marking that same year.
