JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1965

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1965 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask Coarse-grained oak, medium toast
  • Distillation Continuous

Part of Jean Cavé's brut de fût range, this 1965 is bottled at 44.5% vol. The house explains that its cellar master selected for this range eaux-de-vie whose aromatic richness suits the strength at which they are presented. This single-vintage spirit was produced by continuous distillation, then decanted into an Olympe carafe, presented in its wooden arch. A fitting choice for a birth, a wedding anniversary or a retirement linked to that year. Best enjoyed neat, then, if desired, with a drop of water.
