JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1977

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1977 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask Oak casks, aged in the Jean Cavé cellars at Lannepax (Gers)

The Centre Pompidou opened in Paris in January 1977. In the Gers, that autumn's harvest gave rise to the eau-de-vie in this bottle, distilled by Jean Cavé and aged in oak casks. This vintage was kept apart from any blending with other years. A perfect choice for a modern art lover, a birthday from that year, or an anniversary celebrated in 1977, best served with a square of dark chocolate.
