JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1984

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1984 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask Wide-grain oak, medium toast
  • Distillation Continuous

The 1984 harvest is a cornerstone of Jean Cavé: it appears in the XXO, in the 30-year blend and in the 40-year blend. This decanter presents it unaccompanied, at 43.4% vol., the strength at which it left the cellar, having passed through a continuous still and then into wide-grained oak. The Olympe decanter rests in its wooden arch. Open it to mark a birth or a wedding anniversary from that year, or to taste it alongside the XXO, the 30-year or the 40-year from the house.
