The 1995 vintage from Armagnac Delord is a single-harvest eau-de-vie, distilled and then aged for many years in Gascon oak casks in the family cellars at Lannepax, in the Gers. The nose reveals candied fruits (prune), spices and light tobacco. The palate plays on caramel sweetness, baked apple and soft wood, with oak tannins still pleasantly present. Bottled at 40% vol., this vintage Armagnac is presented here in a 150 cl magnum, ideal for a refined tasting or as an exceptional gift.
