clés des ducs Armagnac 2001
- Ageing Vintage 2001, distilled at Panjas, unblended
Twenty-five years of marriage are celebrated as a silver wedding anniversary: for a couple who married in 2001, this Clés des Ducs vintage is the natural choice. It comes from a single harvest, distilled at Panjas and then aged in oak casks, with no blending. A quarter of a century in the chai gives the eau-de-vie a pleasing roundness while keeping a lively fruitiness. The cellar master composes each vintage through a careful selection of casks, resulting in an Armagnac that is long and smooth, with a gentle oakiness. The 70 cl Exception bottle is bottled at 40% vol. and comes in a cardboard gift box.
