JEAN CAVÉ Armagnac Brut de Fût 2004

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 2004 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask Large-grain oak, medium char
  • Distillation Continuous

At 54% vol., this 2004 from Jean Cavé shows what an eau-de-vie looks like when bottled at the strength at which it aged. Distilled in a continuous still, it was matured in large-grain oak casks of medium char, and never blended. Serve in small quantities, in a tulip glass, allowing the spirit time to settle before tasting. Olympe decanter, wooden arch presentation. A bottle to mark a birth or a wedding from 2004.
