DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 2007
- Ageing Eau-de-vie from the single 2007 harvest, aged in oak casks
- Cask Oak casks, in the house cellars at Lannepax (Gers)
At nineteen years of age, this 2007 is the youngest of the Delord vintages we offer. It comes from a single harvest, distilled at Lannepax by this family house and then aged in oak casks. The house notes that the colour of an Armagnac depends on its age, lighter or darker, and that its aromas shift over time from lively to mellow: comparing this 2007 with an older vintage makes the difference very tangible. Bottled at 40% vol. in a 70 cl basquaise with a wooden gift box.
Serve with Neat, or alongside a cigar, a chocolate dessert or an arabica coffee, as suggested by the house
