The VSOP from the Dèche family blends eaux-de-vie from the estate, aged five years in oak casks. Frédéric Lebel, a sommelier based in Paris, authored the tasting note that the house has adopted: aromas of vanilla and toasted bread, a frank attack with bright acidity and a generous texture, well-integrated alcohol, then a spiced finish centred on white fruits, with poached pear leading the way. A long eau-de-vie that retains a pleasing freshness throughout. Gold Medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2022. Bottled at 42% vol. in a 70 cl bottle, presented in a wooden gift box.
