- Ageing 25 years in oak casks
- Cask oak
- Grape varieties 80% Ugni Blanc, 20% Baco

- Distillation Armagnac-style continuous still, at 56%
This 25 year old Armagnac, aged in oak casks, comes from Castelnau d'Auzan, in the Gers. A blend of 80% Ugni Blanc and 20% Baco, grown on tawny sands, it is distilled at 56% in an Armagnac-style continuous still. It is offered in a 70 cl decanter, in its prestige wooden gift box. Twenty-five years is the age of a milestone birthday or a silver wedding anniversary: a chance to mark the occasion with a gift that keeps and is meant to be shared. The Baron de Sigognac, so the legend goes, trusted only his palate to tell the age of an Armagnac.
