clés des ducs Armagnac XO
- Ageing A blend aged for a minimum of 10 years in cask
- Cask Oak casks, light wood influence
- Grape varieties Principally Ugni Blanc
The XO from Clés des Ducs presents a deep, rich golden colour, heralding an elegant and complex nose where notes of port, walnut and hazelnut mingle with plum, vanilla and delicate floral touches of verbena, pear and quince. On the palate, it is round and harmonious, at once mature and lively, with dried fruits, spices and a characteristic hint of rancio. The finish is long, closing on caramel and oak. An Armagnac of real character, true to the house tradition, best savoured slowly at the end of an evening.
