L'Authentique was born from a selection of casks representing, for the Delord family, the most characteristic vintages of the house. Their average age is close to thirty years, according to the technical sheet, and the blend is bottled at 45.9% vol., above the usual 40%. The nose is highly complex, with notes of vanilla, roasted coffee, cocoa, candied fruits and pepper; the palate combines woody and toasted notes with prune, walnut and dried fruits. The house describes it as having a 'gascon' character. 70 cl bottle presented in a wooden case.
Serve with Neat, or paired with a cigar, a chocolate dessert or an arabica coffee, as the house suggests
