JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1941

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1941 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask 'Gros grains' oak, medium char
  • Distillation Continuous

Jean Cavé distilled the 1941 harvest, laid it down in 'gros grains' oak casks with a medium char, and never blended it. This vintage stands at 40.5% vol. In the quiet of the cellar, the house notes, the level and strength of the eau-de-vie slowly diminish over the years: this is the angels' share. Presented in an Olympe decanter with a wooden arch case, this 70 cl bottle makes a fitting gift for a birth or a wedding anniversary from that year, or for a collector in search of the rarest vintages.
