BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1961
- Cask Limousin oak
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir tawny sands
- Distillation Armagnac-type continuous still
Sixty-five years of marriage are celebrated as a rosewood anniversary, a precious wood; for an Armagnac that has spent decades in oak, the connection has its charm. This eau-de-vie comes from the 1961 harvest, born on a land of tawny sands, from Ugni Blanc or Baco, and distilled in an Armagnac-type continuous still. It aged in Limousin oak casks before joining the reserves of Château de Bordeneuve, where Baron de Sigognac ages each vintage separately. The 70 cl bottle is filled to order, with its date on the back, and presented in a wooden box.
