BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1981
- Cask Limousin oak
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir Tawny sands soil
- Distillation Armagnac-type continuous still
Forty-five years of marriage are celebrated as a vermeil anniversary. For a couple married in 1981, this Baron de Sigognac bears the date: a single harvest, never blended, from a terroir of tawny sands, made from Ugni Blanc or Baco. It was distilled in an Armagnac-type continuous still, then aged in Limousin oak casks. The house supplied its tasting note, reproduced in this listing. To be opened at dessert, with a walnut tart or a chocolate fondant. The bottle is a 70 cl Cognac-type bottle.
Serve with best enjoyed as a digestif
