JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1985

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1985 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask Large-grain oak, medium toast
  • Distillation Continuous

The 1985 from Jean Cavé is bottled at 42% vol. It comes from a single harvest in the Gers, distilled continuously at Lannepax, and has never been blended with any other year. The house, now in its fourth generation, has made it one of the vintage expressions in its brut de fût range. The Olympe decanter, nestled in a wooden arch, makes a fine gift to mark a birth in that year, a wedding celebrated in 1985, or a business anniversary. Serve neat, at the end of a meal.
