DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1990
- Ageing eau-de-vie from the 1990 harvest, bottled after several decades of ageing in the cellars
- Cask aged in Gascon oak casks in the cellars of Armagnac Delord at Lannepax
The 1990 vintage from Armagnac Delord is a single-harvest eau-de-vie, distilled and then aged for many years in Gascon oak casks in the family cellars at Lannepax, in the Gers. On the nose, it is very pleasant, offering aromas of warm vanilla and brioche underpinned by notes of dried fruit (hazelnut) and cocoa. On the palate, it plays on notes of soft, fine-grained tannins of exceptional quality. Bottled at 40% vol., this vintage Armagnac is presented here in a 70 cl bottle, equally suited to leisurely tasting or as a remarkable gift.
Serve with best enjoyed as a digestif, neat in a tulip glass, or alongside a cigar, dark chocolate, or a dried-fruit dessert
