The year 1996 offered Gascony a fine balance between freshness and maturity. Spirits from this vintage stand out for their aromatic vivacity and elegance, with notes of fresh fruit, white flowers and hazelnut. After three decades of ageing in Gascon oak casks, they have developed hints of vanilla and gentle spice.
In 1883, Jean Cavé, a winegrower, settled in Lannepax in the Gers as a distiller and négociant, alongside his wife and two sons. Our Armagnacs are the result of harmonious blends of eaux-de-vie drawn from the finest production areas of Armagnac and Bas-Armagnac. Distilled and selected with the greatest care, these eaux-de-vie are aged in oak casks from Gascony, resting in our cellars until they reach their ideal maturity.
