BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 2005
- Cask oak from the Limousin forest
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir fawn sands
- Distillation continuous Armagnac-style still
The Baron de Sigognac 2005 vintage tells the story of a single harvest, distilled in a continuous Armagnac-style still and then aged in Limousin oak casks. Coming from Castelnau d'Auzan, in Bas-Armagnac, on a terroir of fawn sands, it blends Ugni Blanc or Baco. Candied fruit and prunes, softened by a light touch of oak, make for an Armagnac of great softness. For the 21st birthday of someone born in 2005, a wedding or a gift that carries meaning, the 70 cl bottle comes with its Baron de Sigognac wooden case.
