BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1990
- Cask Limousin oak
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir tawny sands
- Distillation continuous Armagnac-type still
This eau-de-vie from 1990 was distilled and aged at Château de Bordeneuve, near Eauze. It comes from Ugni Blanc or Baco, grown on tawny sands, distilled in a continuous Armagnac-type still, then aged in Limousin oak casks. Thirty-six years have passed since the harvest, an age at which Armagnac retains freshness while showing depth. The note supplied by the house is reproduced below. For someone born in 1990, it is a gift that will accompany many birthdays: once opened, the bottle keeps for a long time. Baron de Sigognac fills it to order, in 70 cl, and delivers it in a wooden box.
