JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1959
- Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1959 harvest alone, unblended
- Cask Large-grain oak, medium char
- Distillation Continuous
In the late nineteen-fifties, in the cellars of Lannepax, Jean Cavé distilled the 1959 harvest and laid it to rest in a large-grain oak cask with a medium char. The eau-de-vie reads 41.2% vol. It has never been blended. The founder's expertise has passed from generation to generation, down to Mathias Rodriguez, the cellar master now responsible for distillation, ageing and blending. Olympe decanter presented in a wooden arch case, for a birth or wedding anniversary from that year.
